Policies for Clubs and Classes:
 Payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online or by telephone using a credit card, or you may come in to the shop and register. If registering online, please click the link to the supply list for your class. A supply list will be available for each class. Please have your fabrics and supplies assembled before the class so that we may start on time. Anyone at the shop will be happy to help you with your fabric selections if you would find that useful. Basic supplies for a quilting class are sewing machine, cutting mat, rotary cutter, ruler, and basic sewing kit (scissors, seam ripper, pins, etc.). If you present your supply list at the register, you will receive a 10% discount on all required and optional class supplies.
Shiisa Quilts respects copyright laws and recognizes the value that quilt designers and authors bring to our lives. When a pattern or book is used for the class, we expect each student to purchase a copy of their own.
If we cancel a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the class fee.
If you are unable to attend a class and give us 10 days notice, we will give you an in-store credit for your class fee.
Although we encourage you to sew on your own machine, we have sewing machines available for classes. Please call in advance to reserve them. Reservations for machines are on a first-come, first served basis.
Ten days prior to the start of the class, the class is committed to go. After that time there is no refund or in-store credit for missing a class. You are welcome to pass your registration on to a quilting friend!
Out of consideration for the instructor and other students, children, spouses or visitors are not allowed at classes unless enrolled as a student.
Our goal is to provide sufficient time for you to complete your class projects. However, please remember that some classes may require homework or “catch up” for less-experienced quilters.
